ALTHA HUMPHREY

Altha’s award winning entries at the Marin County Fair in the “Fiber Art” category in 2009 and 2010 are on exhibit.
She was an artistic child who excelled in art, drafting and goemetry. She attended California College of Arts and Crafts, known for its interdisciplinary programs in art, design, and architecture. She was the first woman draftsperson for P T & T in the engineering and electrical divisions. She continued her career at Zeltex, Andros, Kaiser Engineers, Bio Rad and Acex utilizing computer drafting software including Autocad and Adobe.
Altha founded Arts of Point Richmond in 2008, works tirelessly as the Board of Directors Secretary and is the liaison to the City of Richmond Parks and Recreation Department.
