I’m lucky to live in the company of fellow creative spirits sharing our attempts to create art. I’m influenced by them and many others from whom I’ve borrowed ideas and techniques that have become my personal aesthetic. The work of other artists stimulates our creative energy. I celebrate that.

In my work, I’m guided by a sense of what engages, amuses, or entertains me and I always hope that it might affect others in the same way. When I’m occasionally able to capture that illusive image, it thrills me.

Life is a balance of all things important and when art happens, it’s truly a beautiful moment.
