Point Richmond Gallery invites AOPR artists to choose a local character to portray using the media of your choice. This is your chance to bring to light someone or something special in our community in a work of art, figurative or abstract.

About The Event
Do you have a favorite hairdresser, shop clerk, civic leader, restaurant employee, crossing guard, or other personality around town? Point Richmond Gallery invites AOPR artists to choose a local character to portray using the media of your choice. It doesn’t have to be a classic portrait or a realistic image, it could be something you feel represents them or what they do. To submit the name of a local personality you would like to portray (plus two alternates in order of preference), go to the "Call for Art” page on this website https://www.artsofpointrichmond.com/call-for-art After you submit, you will be notified which of your choices has been accepted and you can begin creating!
