Non-juried Show & Sale at ar-ti-fact gallery is an oppportunity for AOPR members to show and sell their artwork during the winter holiday season! Each AOPR member may submit up to THREE smaller, more affordable pieces. DEADLINE TO SUBMIT is Saturday, NOVEMBER 25. Exhibition Dates: Dec. 1—Dec. 23.

About The Event
To enter, email Betsy Kellas betsykellas@gmail.com. Include your name and the number of pieces (1, 2 or 3) you wish to submit. Put "AOPR Member Showcase/Reservation" in subject line. At least one of each member’s pieces will be displayed. Additional pieces will be hung if space permits or used to fill in gaps when an artwork on display is sold and given to a buyer.
Deliver work: Tuesday, November 28, between 10—11am and 5—6:30pm.
Exhibition Opens: Friday, December 1 and closes Saturday December 23.
Pick up Unsold Work: Thursday, December 28, between 10am-11am and 5pm-6:30pm
Artist/Gallery percentages of sale price: Artist 80%/Gallery 20%. (Artists responsible for 9.70% sales tax and may include in price if desired.) Susan Shore will gallery sit and handle sales. AOPR members are invited to join her and help greet visitors to the gallery.
Exhibition Requirements for 2D Artwork: Artwork must be dry and stable and prepared for hanging in one of the following ways:
Framed - Frames must be securely wired for hanging
Cradled Panel - Cradled panels will be hung from the top cradle unless they are securely wired for hanging
Stretcher Bars - Work on stretcher bars must be securely wired for hanging
Matted/Mounted Only – Matted/mounted pieces must be light weight and have a hanging device attached to the back of the mat/mounting board
Exhibition Requirements for 3D Artwork: The artwork must be stable
Wall hung pieces must be securely wired for hanging.
Freestanding pieces - Unless the artist provides a pedestal, the base of all freestanding sculptures must fit within a 12” x 12” area.
Publicity Waiver: Submitting artwork for exhibition in “AOPR Member Showcase” constitutes the artist’s consent to use images of the artwork for publicity purposes on the AOPR website, in AOPR eblasts, and in other promotional media.
Liability Waiver: Artwork exhibited in ar•ti•fact gallery is not insured while on the premises. Precaution will be taken to safeguard all work from theft, loss or damage, but neither ar•ti•fact gallery nor Arts of Point Richmond nor anyone connected with this exhibition will be responsible for loss or damage from any cause. Submitting artwork for exhibition in “AOPR Member Showcase” constitutes a release of liability from theft, loss, or damage of the artwork on exhibit.
