About The Event
"Rick Gradone’s beautifully crafted works in acrylic are modern yet ancient in nature. The subjects of rocks themselves beg the viewer to contemplate one’s own temporary nature on earth, as well as celebrate the stability of the rock we live on. Other paintings elevate the renderings of rocks as shrines and altars. As objects of meditation, each painting can be used as a mandala, a way to consider what art is and our relationship to it and our planet." Show runs until November 26. Gallery open weekends 1—5 pm.
